Project: Natural World Artist's Speech

David Hockney
This is about David Hockney with his famous works. It's very short but the question that would be asking every artist is "How do you paint memorable pictures?" In my opinion. You didn't need many people to remember your art work but as long someone remember you and what kind of work you have done, that's all it matter. But as he said "nobody knows, really"  So even if you try to make something memorable, soon or later thing will slowly disappear as the time pass by because of how technologies is coming in place and soon things that used to be memorable will be replace with new things.

Project: Natural World Mood Board Primary and Secondary (Less Details)

In my opinion. My primary was messy because i didn't print out enough photo and I didn't like the way i lay it out much. I usually lay it out before stick my photo on A3 paper and take a photo so i remember how i used to do it but this time i just stick everything in without taking photo and i didn't know where everything used to be.

However, on my secondary, I liked a lots. The layout and the photo is clear and everything that's on this board is

I have completed another secondary moon board. However, this time i decided to just do about sunflower. Reason is because I like sunflower a lots because they remind of the bright sunny day with the blue sky and nice weather. The colour is simple and the sunflower can turn into amazing pattern design. I took some of the inspiration from the board. (All the images was from pinterest.)

Project: Natural World Artist Research

Artist research. I picked to do textile for my special class (Workshop) so i want to looks into artist who does textile, screen print and batik theme. I didn't finds many artist that catch my attention but the one that I really like are Angie Lewin and Chris Keegan.  Both artist do textile and printing.

Reason why I like Angie Lewin?

I like her Art style, theme and her inspiration in nature theme. Many of her artwork is base on nature and her art style is simple but same time, very effective. Inspirited by her artwork and how she does them. 

Reason why I like Chris Keegan?

I like his artstyle because the colourful and how things are laying out. There's part of nature and part of human/animal which i like the most. 

I may mix both of their work together in my own design for the final design sheet because of how much i enjoyed to see their work being mix up together.

Project: Natural World Secondary Research

For the secondary research, I went to pinterest to looks for photo that i likes and print it out and maybe trying to get ideas from it as well. Mostly would be basing on fruit and flowers. Things that I enjoy to do and search about. Link to Pinterest

Project: Natural World Mind Map

This is the first Mind-Map that I’ve created. This will be useful to me if I ever want to take a deeper look into researching about nature and hopefully give me different ideas to work with. There might not be many photos to explain everything on the list however, I preferred to leave it that way because, I liked the way it looked and it works great with my art style.

After I’ve completed my Mind-Map, I’ve decided on what I wanted to put my focus on when working with nature. I will work on fruits, flowers and maybe even take some parts of the human body into my art work. I took many different photos of a variety of flowers and picked the ones I liked the most. I still have many pictures to take about fruits and human body parts but I will work on it when the time is right.

Nature: things such as flower, tree, plant, feathers, human, animal etc.

Things that's base on nature and things that's living on the world. I also included patterns in nature because it would help me pick out on the thing i wanting to focus on when i design my final. 

Humans Parts: Neck, Head, Mouth, Ears, Nose, Arms, Legs, Feet, Hand, Fingers etc. 

Things that's on human's body and it could be anything, both inside out but everything in this list is only things outside of humans part. 

Landscape: Hills, Rivers, Fileds, Sea, Sky etc.

Project: Natural World Primary Research

Natural World was the project that we're given to do during the summer holiday and do the research about primary in the theme of "natural world".

At the start of this project, i wasn't sure what i want to focus on but since there many things that you can focus on nature, i decided that i wanted to do about flower and fruit base in textile.

I collected different flower types and went to few parks in Sheffield and some around my house.
